Washoe County Sheriff's Office detectives are attempting to locate the suspect or suspects involved in a shooting into a residence that occurred late Sunday night in the Galena area.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2019. Deputies were contacted by the home's residents on Monday and located evidence of several shots fired, causing damage to a garage door and vehicles parked in the driveway. There were no injuries.
The only suspect information investigators have at this time is that the suspect, or suspects, were driving a dark colored SUV. Detectives are asking that anyone who may have seen something, or know of any information that may assist with this investigation, contact the Washoe County Detective Division at (775) 328-3320, or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900, refer to case WC19-4111.
Detectives continue to investigate similar incidences that occurred in the south Reno/Mt Rose. Highway area in December of last year and earlier this year. At this time, it is unknown if any of these incidents are related.
