Washoe County Sheriff's Office Investigating Accident Involving Pedestrian

On February 25, 2024, at approximately 7:15 pm, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident report in the area of N. McCarran Blvd. and N. Virginia St. The pedestrian was transported by medical personnel to a local hospital with serious injuries, and no involved vehicles were present at the scene when deputies arrived.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office M.A.I.T. (Major Accident Investigation Team) is handling the investigation and urges anyone with information about this incident to call the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at 775-785-WCSO (9276) or contact Secret Witness at 775-322-4900, refer to case # WC24-1017.
