Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives investigating Cold Springs deaths

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a case involving two adults who sustained fatal gunshot wounds inside a Cold Springs residence on Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m. deputies responded to a residence on the 18000 block of Cedar View Drive and found two adults, both in their 40s, with gunshot wounds to the head. Both the male and female were transported to a regional hospital where they were declared deceased.

There are no outstanding suspects in this case, and there is no threat to the community. This is an ongoing investigation.
