Washoe County Sheriff’s Office detectives continue to lead the regional investigation of a Sparks Police Department officer involved shooting that occurred on Victorian Avenue near the RTC Centennial Plaza late Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

Investigators released the scene and opened Victorian Avenue shortly after 9:30 a.m. Once completed, the investigation will be forwarded to the District Attorney for his review.
