Washoe County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested an 18-year-old man this morning after reports of an armed intruder in a Cold Springs residence occupied by a woman and two small children.
At approximately 9:45 a.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017, Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of an armed man inside a residence located on Pin Oak Court south of Rockland Drive. The suspect had just fled from the house, according to the reporting party.
A K9 deputy responding to the incident spotted a suspicious person in the area of New Forest Drive and Boxelder Court. The deputy made contact with the subject who was identified as the suspect in the home intrusion on Pin Oak Court.
The suspect was identified as Jordan Davis, age 18. After further investigation, Davis was arrested on charges of armed robbery, child endangerment, burglary and other related charges.
This is an ongoing investigation, detectives believe Davis may have been involved in other area burglaries. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detective Division at (775) 328-3320 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.
