Unified Command & Live Updates
United States Forest Service, Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District, and Reno Fire Department are operating in unified command for this incident. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is supporting the response through providing evacuation support, patrolling evacuated areas, securing property, and assisting with aerial fire suppression.

Donations and Support
Please call 311 for current information and guidance on donation needs for evacuees and emergency responder.
For everyone's safety and to avoid interfering with emergency operations, do not deliver donations directly to Incident Command Posts, first responder personnel, or active fire response areas.
Non-Emergency Washoe County Sheriff's Office Services Reduced
Due to ongoing fire response operations, the Washoe County Sheriff's Office has temporarily reduced some non-emergency services as personnel and resources are redirected to support the incident and our community.
Permits and general Front Desk services are unavailable. Many routine Sheriff's Office services, forms, and resources remain available online and can be accessed through our website. Inmate services and the Visiting Desk remain open.
