Residential program for young women 12 to 25 years of age, who are pregnant and need housing, resources, and support. Parenting, budgeting, nutrition, and child development classes are part of the program. Includes an on-site, fully accredited adult education program, offered in partnership with the Washoe County school district. The Launching Pad is a transitional recovery home that is committed to providing a safe and supportive living environment for the recovery of chemically dependent women, men and veterans. The program is designed around the 12 step model of recovery and is structured for maximum growth and success for alcohol, drug and gambling addictions. Residents are required to attend AA/NA, enter into a service commitment and participate in AA/NA home group. One on one counseling on a weekly basis helps the resident to stay on track. Additional counseling is highly recommended. Fees are $150 a week and $350 up front. .

Admission fee/deposit of $330 is required which covers 1st and last week’s rent. Fee of $165 per week. No sex offenders or violent offenders.

A faith-based residential transitional home for women. Applicants are required to have lived in the northern Nevada area for a minimum of three months. Commitment to the program is six months. This is a faith-based program, and the client will be required to attend life skills/Bible study three times a week and church services on Sunday. The client must also be willing and able to work. A fee of $400 a month is paid to the program. This money is returned to the client to assist with a down payment for a vehicle or to secure an apartment when they graduate.

Offers outpatient services and drug/alcohol evaluations at the administrative facility. Must be either on probation or court ordered. Also required to have a valid NV ID card or original birth certificate.

Provide intervention and prevention services to battered women and their children to create a safe place to stop the cycle of violence in families. Services offered include: 24-hour crisis intervention, emergency shelter, community outreach to incarcerated victims, and legal advocacy. Conducts weekly support groups. Also, offers self-esteem classes for women at WCDF on Mondays.

Initial fees are $500 for first two weeks and $165 each additional week. Must have TB results and complete application before admission. Can accommodate House Arrest clients.
