The Washoe County Sheriff's Office Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) is investigating a fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian accident involving a Reno Fire Department Ladder Truck.
The accident occurred shortly before 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at the intersection of Fourth Street and Valley Road in Reno.
The victim is reported to be a female adult. The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an investigation to identify the victim and confirm cause of death.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
