The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating the report of a possible attempted abduction of an 11-year-old girl who was walking to school along Lemmon Drive this morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Deputies were told that the 11-year-old was walking to school northbound on Lemmon Drive in the area of Limber Pine Drive when she was approached by a male subject in a car and he attempted to lure her into his vehicle. The girl immediately fled the area and reported the incident to family.
The vehicle, described as a light gray four-door sedan with no license plates, was last seen heading southbound on Lemmon Drive toward US 395.
The suspect is described as a white male, possibly in his thirties, with short hair, heavy build, and a scar on the left side of his forehead. He was wearing blue-framed glasses.
