Guns and Hoses Golf Tournament raises more than $25,000 for the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation

The annual Guns and Hoses Golf Tournament had its best year to date in 2018, raising more than $25,000 to support the Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation.

For six years now, Washoe County law enforcement officers, firefighters, and citizens have competed in this fundraising golf tournament at Lakeridge Golf Course. The total donation for all six years is approximately $115,000 for the Children's Cancer Foundation.

Guns and Hoses 2018 would not have been a success without the generous support of Duncan Golf Management and the tournament's numerous sponsors and donors.

Major donors to this year's tournament include the Washoe County Sheriff's Supervisory Deputies Association, Truckee Meadows Firefighters Association Local 2487, Truckee Meadows Chief Officers Association, Audi Reno Tahoe, Jay Kenny/Doughboys Donuts, Northern Nevada Chapter of Safari International, Belfor Property Restoration, Sonny and Kelli Newman, and Erik Riekenberg of Epik Entertainment.
